Kitchen Fengshui Guide

In the kitchen, stove is deem as one of the most important items in house fengshui, as it represent your source of food, which is also a form of indirect wealth. It can also represent female owner of the house. Moreover, it is heat producing and therefore it is important to be placed at auspicious position to activate good wealth luck

Good stove position:

• Should not be seen from main door. This represent leaking of wealth 漏财, and door energy will also clash 冲 with the stove which bad as well.

• Should not face toilet. While cooking, stove and food will take in Qi from surrounding and therefore its not ideal to face toilet and have unclean toilet air as input into your stove and food.

• Should not be placed under pillar.

• Should have a fixed base and avoid using portable stove for daily use.

• Should not be directly facing a water basin, as water and fire element clash.

• Avoid stove placement at northwest sector. Northwest sector is known as 乾卦 (one of the bagua 八卦 hexagram sector) which represent head of the family, breadwinner; therefore is not good to set fire on head of the family.

• Engage fengshui consultation to identify an auspicious location to place the stove, as such stove can harness auspicious energy and brings prosperity to the family.
